Assistant Vice Chancellor and Executive Director for Alumni Engagement, 2017-Present
Andrea Simpson, M.A. serves as the Assistant Vice Chancellor and Executive Director for Alumni Engagement for IU Indianapolis. She is responsible for strategizing and leading efforts to engage with alumni all over the world. Simpson’s efforts target programming and communication in an effort to promote alumni involvement and philanthropy on campus.
Simpson brings over 20 years of leadership experience to her role in the alumni office, including fundraising and event planning. She previously managed alumni relations at City Colleges of Chicago and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. An alumnae herself, Simpson earned her Bachelor of Science in speech pathology and audiology from the Purdue School of Science at IU Indianapolis.
