Beth Jeglum

As director of the IU Indianapolis Center for Young Children, Beth Jeglum oversaw the campus's licensed and accredited campus early childhood education program. She oversaw the expansion of the center's enrollment from 30 to over 250 children. She also led the planning, funding, and construction of the center's new building. Jeglum also guided the center through numerous licensing and accreditation reviews.
Prior to becoming director of the Center for Young Children, Jeglum worked at Riley Hospital for Children as manager of the pediatric pulmonary function lab. She oversaw testing and ordering of supplies. Jeglum was also involved with numerous research studies on pediatric lung function and assisted in developing the first pediatric sleep study lab.
Jeglum is a founding member of Indiana Coalition of Campus Children's Centers and a past president of the organization. She is also a founding member of the Indiana Professional Development System. Jeglum currently serves as a member of the board of the National Coalition of Campus Children's Centers and as a volunteer with Kids Voice of Indiana.
