Professor of International Strategic Management
Marjorie Lyles' leadership has helped to develop the Kelley School of Business at IU Indianapolis. In her years as a professor, she has served on many committees, both within the Kelley School of Business and for the entire IU Indianapolis Campus. In the 1990s, she helped spearhead the organization of the Indiana University Center on Southeast Asia at IU Indianapolis, and served as the center's founding director from 1994-1996.
Lyles research examines the challenges that Indiana mid-sized firms face when expanding in China. She is a highly regarded scholar in international business and has won many awards for her research. She has also received two grants from the National Science Foundation to examine issues related to international business.
