Trustee
MaryEllen (Kiley) Bishop was elected a member of the Board of Trustees of Indiana University in June 2010. An alumnae of Indiana University (Bachelor of Science in Marketing, 1979) and the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law - Indianapolis (JD, 1982), Bishop has volunteered her time to many Indiana University and IU Indianapolis projects and committees.
Bishop has been active on the Indiana University Athletics Committee as an alumni representative and served on the Board of Visitors of the Indiana University School of Law - Indianapolis. She co-chaired the Planned Giving Committee of the Indiana University School of Medicine, chaired the Woodburn Guild of the IUAA, and serves on the Steering Committee for the Colloquium for Women of IU. From 2007 to 2008, Bishop served as National Chair of the Indiana University Alumni Association. She was also a member of the 2008 Athletic Director Search Committee, a member from 2004 to 2009 on the Board of Managers of IUAA, and a member of the IUAA 1998 and 2004 Visionary Task Forces.
MaryEllen (Kiley) Bishop is an attorney at the Indianapolis law firm Cohen, Garelick & Glazier, specializing in Estate Planning and Probate law. She is a Board Certified Indiana Estate and Trust Lawyer by the Trust and Estate Specialty Board. She has served two terms on the Indiana Probate Code Study Commission and is also a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Council, the Indiana State Bar Foundation and a Distinguished Fellow of the Indianapolis Bar Foundation.
