Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology
Susan Zunt has been teaching at Indiana University School of Dentistry since 1979. She has an active practice at the Center for Oral Diagnosis and Treatment, where she treats patients and researches the oral manifestations of disease, oral cancer, and pre-cancer. She is currently the only female chair at the Indiana University School of Dentistry.
Zunt is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and past president of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology. She is a member of numerous professional dental organizations, and has held past leadership positions in many of these groups. In October 2013, she was elected Director Designate of the Board of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology.
