Executive Director, IU National Center of Excellence in Women's Health (2011-Present)
Theresa Rohr-Kirchgraber, MD, FACP is committed to improving women's health. Rohr-Kirchgraber serves as Executive Director of the IU National Center of Excellence in Women's Health, a program designed to improve women's wellness through education, research, and collaboration among health care providers.
Rohr-Kirchgraber specializes in adolescent medicine and internal medicine. She researches patient education, including healthy behaviors and improved outcomes among cancer survivors and adolescents with chronic diseases. She also treats eating disorders through the Charis Center for Eating Disorders and the IU Health Teen Bariatric Surgery Program.
Rohr-Kirchgraber has been a board member of the American Medical Women's Association for over 20 years. She is the current president elect of the organization. She also serves on the governing council of the Women's Physicians Congress. She is the 2013 recipient of the American Medical Association Innovations in Medicine Award, the American Medical Women's Association Exceptional Mentor Award, and the AMWA Commitment to Excellence Award.
