Welcome to the Office for Women at IU Indianapolis

The IU Indianapolis Office for Women works to build a campus environment that is inclusive of all and to create a climate where all community members can succeed and reach their full potential as faculty, staff or students. We provide information, education and programming about gender equity to students, faculty, and staff as well as our community. We support efforts to create equal opportunities and justice for all both locally and globally. Our programs are open to all registrants regardless of age, color, disability, ethnicity, sex, gender identity, gender expression, genetic information, marital status, national origin, race, religion, sexual orientation, or veteran status.

50 Years of Gender Equity at IU Indianapolis

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of IU Indianapolis’s founding in 1969, the Office for Women created a publication to review and share gender equity efforts on campus over the years both at the campus level and unit levels. Follow the link below to learn the history and success of these multiple and varied efforts.
