To commemorate the 50th anniversary of IUPUI’s founding in 1969, the Office for Women is pleased to share this review of the gender equity efforts throughout the campus. Women-identified faculty, staff and students have been vital as partners and leaders to the growth and development of IUPUI as an urban public research university. Women were also instrumental in the foundation and growth of schools and units that were predecessors of the modern IUPUI campus. More information about these “Founding Mothers” can be found here.
